In Macoupin County, Illinois, I am working with Macoupin County Housing Authority to develop 38 single family homes dispersed among three scattered sites. The development of this project is intended to replace functionally obsolete public housing property located throughout in the county. We have also committed to a “Green Building Design” that incorporates engineering and environmental standards intended to achieve ICC 700 green certification and introduced enhanced accessibility accommodations into all of the homes raising the standard for handicap accessibility. This project is currently under construction and is scheduled to begin lease-up in April 2016.
